There are a lot of moving pieces (7 different flight numbers) but we are getting home slowly but shurly. Thank you parents for your patience. -Eric

Thanks for those willing to pick us up at OHare. The good news is there will be no extra charge for the extra day of the serve trip.

Ok…we are enjoying a nice dinner courtesy of continental airlines. We are flying out on 3 different flights tomorrow.  I called to cancel the bus. Jayme will make calls and arrange for available parents to pick us up from chicago ohare.  Thank you for your support and patience.  Eric

Staying overnight here in guatemala city. Waiting to make arrangements. We couldn’t fly out tonighr because customs and immigration in Houston was closed down for jthe night. More inffo as i can provide it. Eric

Just got off the plane for the second time here in Guatemala city. It’s  7:36 mountain time. They say next flight to houston will be about an hour from now. Really doesn’t matter since there are no more flights to chicago until morning. We have yet to make new flight arrangements. Kids are being great sports. We may not be home unril late morning tomorrow. I will update from houston. Thanks. Eric

Sensor problems with the plane. It is 4:12 mountain time, 6:12 eastern now and we are still in Guatemala airport. We will miss our connection in Houston. No word on rerouting or estimated time of arrival. It is going to be a long night. Will try to update as possible. Thanks. Eric
