Dinner is done. We had wonderful homemade guacamole. Lance is feeling a bit better but is cold and tired. We hope to post a photo gallery soon.

Greetings from Antigua! So sorry for the lack of posts but we have had cloudy and rainy weather at the mission house. We have a line of sight link to the local seminary that provides our internet and the link has been down. I am at an internet cafe in the town of Antigua. We have been at the large market here doing some shopping. We started the day at Rios de Aqua Vida church and had a wonderful experiece with our friends there. Yesterday we had a good day of work. Right now we have 7 houses completely done, 9 done with cement and 13 mostly finished. We just need to break ground on 3 more. One of our teams lead a bible school yesterday afternoon and had about 150 kids plus a lot of adults. They said it was total choas. Everyone has been have a good time and except for minor cuts and scratches we have been safe. Lance however has been sick with the stomach flu and had to stay the mission house today.
We have been working in a town called Alotenango which is about a 45 minute drive. One the way we see some amazing country side. There has been a lot of rain in the afternoons and lots of water in the streat and rushing down gullies. The power of the water is pretty amazing.
The kids have been staying up late playing cards and talking. Everyone is getting a long well and have had a really helpful spirit.
Tomorrow is our last full work day. We are distributing food and clothes Tuesday night. Wednesday we are dedicating homes and visiting an orphanage.

Hi Friends,
We had an outstanding day working today we have 6 houses mostly done and one more started. We handed out a lot of candy and painted a lot of fingernails. The kids all worked hard and we are ready to eat! Everyone was safe, a very good day. We worked in Alitenango a town about a 45 minutes away through some spectacular landscapes. This place is beautiful. Pictures to follow!

It is 5:45 here in Guatemala. We are two hours earlier here than at home. The plan is breakfast at 6:00 and group devotions at 7:00. Off to work at 8:00. We had a good night last night. We are settling in and getting some needed rest. I will have photos of breakfast and devotions then not anything untilled we are back from work. e
